MEANING
I started placing colorful handmade fringes from Michoacán on the shoulders — and from that gesture, the inspiration was born.
On the pockets I placed a Guatemalan weaving patchwork and on the sleeves Peruvian Quechua handmade strips: the colors are totally matching together!!!
I hand-painted the bird on a large blue fabric, then I added the studs and the light strips making the flying effect.
The bird is entering the purple screen printing:
it is the Crown Chakra of 1000 petals —
the bird enters the Light.
This bird carries the rainbow — it's an ambassador of the Rainbow Warriors described in the Hopi prophecies:
people of many colors and cultures who will help restore harmony on Earth.
